However, the Resident Evil franchise now takes up six of the top 10 spots in Capcom’s list. Resident Evil 2 has now sold 12.60 million units across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC, having surpassed Resident Evil 7‘s 12.40 million units. Capcom has once again updated their list of million-selling “Platinum Titles”, and to no one’s surprise, their remake of Resident Evil 2 is now the highest-selling entry in the series. “I believe they have the potential to make a big impact on the industry and I’m looking forward to doing everything I can to assist the company in delivering on that.”Īs for Nightdive’s upcoming remaster of Blade Runner, the game is still currently in development, despite having run into delays. “110 Industries is a really ambitious company with a compelling vision and an exciting slate of upcoming titles, so this is a project that I’m really excited to be involved in,” states EA found Trip Hawkins, who joined 110 Industries earlier this year in an advisory role.
